Another Tim “T-Bone” Yoder pick this week- although I could never reject a request for The Budos Band. They pretty much embody the “cool”.

  1. Props to you guys — this is pretty sweet. I may just use some of my iTunes credit to grab this audio nastiness.

  2. Already left a comment… but after repeated listens, this album is simply killer.

(I’m hoping you guys listen to Tortoise? If not, stop what you’re doing and get “Beacons of Ancestry” or “Standards” this instant.)

  3. Glad you’re enjoying the Budos. I highly recommened their back catalog as well. Its just as good.

I just put Standards on hold at the library. Hopefully will listen to it in the next few days. You have a favorite Tortoise track? We could put it up as next week’s song.

  4. I’ll suggest “Salt the Skies.” The album version is great, but supplemented with this live version recorded as part of the “Burn to Shine” compilation DVD series.
